This is a place to save and document the many Prompt Communities that existed on Livejournal back in the day. During the time Livejournal was one of the most popular blogging platforms, Prompt communities existed to inspire Artists and Writers for their pairings.
Typically, someone would 'Claim' a pairing, then fill out a table of prompts with fanfiction or art. Once finished, some would receive a banner. Others were just for the glory of completing a challenge. As the years passed and fandoms moved to different platforms, Prompt Challenges and Communities fell by the wayside.
But they are fondly remembered.
This community was created to not only document the various Prompt Communities, but also to try and save some of those that have gone. This space does not wish to take any credit for the Prompts - Just to keep them safe as journals are purged and Communities vanish.
If you would like to fill one of the prompts, each entry will have a link to their respective community (if possible). It is definitely encouraged to go fill these! But most of all, this time is one of nostalgia and creativity. And I would like to see those safe.
